PowerFlex 3000 communicates with compatible devices using LoRa rather than Wi-Fi where supported. LoRa provides longer communication range, improved wall penetration and a more stable connection in environments where Wi-Fi coverage is limited.
The RS485 interface supports reliable wired communication between compatible devices. It enables faster data transmission, supports communication across multiple connected devices and allows operating data to be exchanged using the Modbus protocol where supported.
PowerFlex 3000 is designed to power on automatically once connected and correctly installed. Operation depends on the system configuration and installation. Refer to the installation guide for commissioning requirements.
